Hi, I'm Daria. I founded MORECRUISE in 2006. Back then yacht charter was almost unknown as a way of spending holidays among Russian travellers.
How it all began
I had the idea to pormote yacht charter holidays in Russian speaking countries. It was the year 2000 when I first started to work in a yacht charter agency in Berlin. I realized very fast that yacht charter was neither too expensive nor too difficult and that it was really accessible to people with medium class salary. All you need is love the sea, love being on water, love individual holidays, being ready for some adventure, better have a skipper licence (but not required) and feel enthusiastic about sailing. I had it perfectly clear that there were lots of Russian people who met these conditions very well and started to dream about making sailing popular also to Russian clients.
The way to an own company took me 5 years of working for others in similar business. I worked with German, French, Dutch, Danish, Austrian and Swiss clients. I went to the biggest and most important boat shows in Düsseldorf, London, Paris, Vienna, Hamburg, Budapest and Moscow. In 2006, I felt ready to start an own yacht charter agency, which should be optimized for Russian speaking clients.

Nowadays, sailing and yachting are becoming more and more popular in Russia. Since 2006, we have been working successfully on the Russian market. But over the years, we have been able to benefit from our cultural and linguistic skills and offer our services also to English, German and Spanish speaking clients. In 2015, MORECRUISE Ltd. purchased the German online charter agency FIRSTYACHT. We are glad to offer our services to clients from all over the world.

MORECRUISE is an international company. I have been living in different western European countries for more than 15 years and I have learned to work properly in tourism and yachting branches. We speak English, Russian, German, Spanish and Italian, and this is a big advantage for our co-operation with international charter providers and boat owners. I personally know many of them since years.
